The Proof

I got Seb’s epic 1st birthday cake from The Proof. Francesca’s whole thing is “we bring the dessert” and they don’t just do cakes but profiteroles and macaroons. So delicious!

The Bold Bean Co.

I am totally bean obsessed ! The transformation of beans to become cool is credited to the gorgeous Amelia. I was skeptical if I’d notice a difference, but her jarred beans taste delicious, and I’m especially bonkers for the queen butter beans. I used them to cook a “bean-otto'“ recently with leeks, mushrooms and white wine.

The Lost Girls

It isn’t a secret I have been everything bows lately and these cute napkins are hand sewn by two best friends in London. I had the pleasure of meeting Georgie and her family on the LMP Meadowsweet retreat in Italy and watched in awe as she lovingly stitched each creation by the pool.

Passé The Store

Dani truly has a beautiful eye for unique vintage pieces - all coming from local craftspeople and artisans. She has carefully sourced and curated a collection of antiques, lighting, furniture, and other objects I am eager to fill my home with.

Line & Honey

Adding to my collection of lovely wall prints - these minimal illustrations are created by Amberlee. Using her background in mental health, her work aims to spotlight black women in soft, reflective moments. This print about slowing down and being intentional caught my eye, as well as her ‘Duality Journal’ .

Urban Pantry Cafe

If you are lucky enough to be local to Chiswick you might be familiar with this women owned and run brunch cafe. They have these delicious blueberry pancakes on the menu all year among many other yummy dishes !

Cosmic World Jewellery

Izzy started handmaking jewellery over lockdown and has a passion to empower people with how they feel through her cosmic jewels. She designs all the pieces and they can be personalised with your choice of initials, names or word for an extra unique touch.

HWYL

Shouting out our friend Lydia Buckler’s studio in Anerley. It is so so gorgeous and one of the cosiest, kindest spaces to practise in. Not to mention the aesthetics are very on point! If you love holidays and practicing yoga in equal measures she will be hosting a Retreat in Spain late summer.

Stem Flow

Stem Flowers are based in South East London and run by a wonderful woman called Tiff. She hosts floral arrangement workshops and also provides installations for weddings and events. Her contact is stem.flowfloristry@gmail.com or you can reach out on to her via Instagram @stem.flow

Pink Diesel

Who else is getting excited for sunny evenings nattering with friends over a chilled glass of rosé.? I love that this is cleverly named to take ownership back of derogatory views of rosé as something ‘feminine and girly’. The magnum is currently on sale too!

5 Gorgeous Retreats on LMP’s Radar

I have been lucky enough to have taught on and hosted many retreats in my Pilates career so far and after having my son Sebby in 2023, we ran two retreats that year in Cornwall and Tuscany with Sebby strapped to me in the carrier. However, I knew I had to put a little pause on them after that and am excited to run some again in the future, I’m thinking 2028 (lol) so save the date hehe!

Turning 33

I turned 33 last week on the 16th January 2025. This is not one of those posts where I tell you all the things I’ve learnt in 33 years. Mainly because honestly I feel like I am just getting started. 33 really is still young isn’t it? Isn’t it? I love how long life hopefully is and all being well I am only just over a third of the way into it. “In 2022, the life expectancy at birth for women born in the UK was 82.57”* I’m aiming for 100 but I’m also not obsessed with it.

The top 3 books I read in 2024 and why

Sitting here in the corner of my bedroom while my son Sebastien naps in the bed. I was reading my book for a while while he napped. It’s Talking At Night by Clare Daverley and I’ve very very nearly finished it but I’m doing that thing where you drag a book out because you’ve enjoyed reading it so much you don’t want it to end. It’s reached by top 3 books of 2024. Here’s why plus the two other books I highly recommend you read.

5 cute and comfy activewear looks for 2025

As a Pilates teacher and founder of online virtual studio/App LMP, you won’t be surprised to learn I have a lot of activewear. I feel best in comfy loungey but well put together looks rather than sporty workout wear. I think my wonderful members and followers feel the same as I get asked where I get my activewear from quite often. I wanted to start doing some journal posts with my fave looks in.
