A Poem

Maybe one day there won't be Instagram.Maybe one day you'll lose all respect for your friend.Maybe one day you'll fall out of love with your job.Maybe one day you'll hate those expensive shoes you spent a month's salary on.Maybe one day you'll travel to a beautiful place and feel empty.Maybe one day you'll travel home and feel lost. But maybe... One day you'll wear no make up and feel beautiful. One day you'll feel good enough without praise. One day you'll feel home wherever you are.One day you'll smile like you've never smiled before just because. One day you'll accept that sometimes it's okay to let go.One day you'll feel whole all by yourself.Love, Lottie x

Some Things My Therapist Told Me To Do For Certain

My therapist never shared much about herself with me, obviously. I would go to my sessions at her house, local to where I lived. She had a London terraced Victorian-style house and the room we had our sessions in was at the top of the stairs on the first floor.

What Happened To My Brain In 2019

At the start of this year I suffered severely with anxiety, depression and intrusive thoughts. As I recovered I questioned whether to talk about my mental health experience openly, would it bring it all back or make things worse? I spoke to my therapist and psychiatrist about this and they said Lottie if you’ve suffered you’re in a much better place to help others, to help others feel less alone. My experience has opened that door for me.

Solo Date Ideas

Whilst I am all for the idea of celebrating love with my partner or gal pals, I’m proposing an alternative Valentines Day - one which puts your needs at the heart of it! I asked our LMP team how their dream solo date would look and would love to hear yours. Whether it’s buying yourself a bunch of flowers or wandering around an art gallery, I hope this inspires you to book a romantic date with yourself.

My Current Favourite Natural Pampering Products

Please note that I am not a doctor, midwife or pregnancy specialist. All the answers below are my own personal experience and you should always seek your own professional advice. Some questions asked are heavier than others but I hope you enjoy reading a little insight into my own experience of pregnancy. I completely acknowledge my privilege to have fallen pregnant naturally and to have access to incredible support through the NHS and privately. Sending so much love to anyone on their own journey.
