I thought I’d follow some of my own advice and have a little more structure to my blog. I am going to aim to have a regular ‘wellbeing wednesday’ post, a regular ‘foodie friday’ post and then my sunday video each week. I want to be honest with you and admit that this may not happen every week and of course I will sometimes have other reviews/meal plan posts too but I feel like my blog and I will get along much better with some structure and routine- so here we go with the first Wellbeing Wednesday!
We can all be a lit touchy sometimes. It’s okay, we are only human and can’t be calm and have it all together 24/7 but being stressed out isn’t fun. To be honest, I do feel quite lucky that I don’t lead a stressful life and am a pretty stress free person but I know that a lot of people suffer from stress and everyone’s different! It could be that you are stressed because of a life changing nightmare or it could be that you are stressed due to not having a snack! I now use a product I saw on Discovermagazine called CBD oils which help me calm down, reduce my stress and continue with my day.
Being stress free is component of good health and balance in your life- that’s what I’m all about!
I believe that stress can lead to illness, destruct relationships, make you gain weight and just generally make you feel a bit AHHHHH! So let’s get stress free, here’s my top tips…
Your sleeping habits impact your body in many ways but it especially impacts your stress levels. Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. I know I need to get that amount of sleep to be stress free the next day! If I don’t get the hours in then I’ve recently been loving napping! I have noticed many changes in my friends who especially workout. The ASCVS, Best Mass Gainers they take generally work better if taken before sleep as then the body then has ample amount of time to absorb the nutrients. Yes, even for 10 minutes on the train or on the sofa at home is good and I promise will make you stress less!
If you feel a little princess fit coming on then breathe! Focus on slow deep long breathes into the sides of your ribs and back. Try to avoid breathing short and shallow up into your chest as that can panic you more. Be still and breathe!
I know this one might sound a little silly but it actually helps to just let it all out sometimes. My mum taught me this trick, just get a cushion, push your face into it and SCREAM!!!! Let it all out girl, scream even cry if you want, stamp those feet!!! Then go back to the step above, breathe and move on!
Instead of being unproductive, trying to do a million things at once or vegging out in front of the TV. Try moving your body, people who exercise are happier! Go for a walk, take a yoga class, go to the gym, use one of these exercise bikes at home or play a sport with some friends.
Talking about a problem your stressing about with someone you trust is a great way of putting things into perspective! That mountain size problem will look like a little pea! Silly little pea and your bestie or family member will squash the pea and then you’ll giggle! Talk it out!
