So here it is, the plan that will change your life and turn you into a body confident, oozing sassiness, glowing skin goddess. What everyone wants pre holiday right? Well I’m sorry but that was a little bit of fake news. Unfortunately I can’t make those promises and no plan or person should however I do hope this little 7 day reset will help you feel the bestest version of yourself before your hols. It’s all my top tips and feel good gems thrown into a weekly schedule that will hopefully give you the confidence boost we all want pre jet setting. It’s definitely not about crash dieting or trying to change your body shape entirely, it’s about self respect, a little more rest, a little more movement and just a bit more daily consciousness around the decisions you make.

My Current Fitness Routine And Goals

We are half way through February and I thought I’d talk a little bit about my personal fitness routine, goals and how I stay motivated. I have some weeks where I’m less active than others usually the week before my period or when I’m travelling but I feel like I have been quite consistently motivated for the past 6 months due to a few reasons like finding more routine, having buddies to workout with and getting to know my optimal time to workout. There’s still things I’d like to improve which I’ll talk about too.

Retreating is not escaping life, it’s about coming back to you and living.

4 years ago, my best friends and I dreamt we’d one day work together. This summer, we did. I’m so lucky to have a close friendship group but even more lucky that we all share a passion for creating the best life we can, we all work in holistic health and wellbeing, and we all want to spread our love for movement, balanced healthy eating and drinking, mindfulness and happy living to as many people as we can and so our first retreat was born.

A Day In The Life

Like lots us today, I have many different hats to wear when we comes to my “job”, putting that in quotation marks because I don’t see myself as even having a proper job. I have a life and a career and the two are very much entwined. I’m all about work/life balance and as a Pilates instructor and lifestyle blogger, there’s definitely no 9-5 or even Monday to Friday work week. I might be teaching, organizing events and retreats, writing, shooting, reviewing restaurants, attending a press launch, meeting brands and photographers, researching, travelling and within that I love working out, cooking, seeing my friends etc, so a day in the life doesn’t really exist but a typical day might look something like this.

If you follow me on Instagram you may know that I’m currently on a holiday atm with my best girlies. Emily and I are so used to moving our bodies every day with Pilates and yoga, walking around London teaching and attending classes and we had every intention of starting the day with movement while away. Sometimes too many sangrias and the comfiest beds ever change intentions but something about Monday morning kick started us today.
