Oh Bath where have you been my whole life. Following on from my blog post last week about my very cosy stay at the new hotel spa No.15 Great Pulteney, I thought I’d share with you where we ventured to when we did leave the hotel- it mainly involves food and coffee but with the sun shining we also couldn’t resist wandering the streets of Bath city and taking an early morning dip in the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa. Of course Natalie and I hunted down all the cutest coffee shops and foodie spots in 24 hours. So here’s a list of where we went; if you know you’re just like us and find yourself in Bath craving a matcha latte and a long lunch at the best vegan restaurant then save this post now…

My London (some of mine and my besties hidden gems)

I feel like everyone has their own little London; their fave spots for brunch, for pizza, a secret banana bread find, a cute spot to read in a park, a fave salsa class. I was inspired to write this blog post towards the end of last year when out with some blogger girls and we was chatting about all our fave places in London and I realised that I hadn’t even heard or been to some of them. London is just full to the brim with incredible hang outs, foodie places, studios and everyone has their faves. So I thought I’d dedicate a little post to share the love of mine and some of my fave blogger gals. From a Swedish Bakery in Covent Garden to a stunning palace in South East London perfect for a picnic to a place you can get your shellac manicure and watch a the latest blockbuster; you’ll get an insight into our London…

Lisbon Love

lisbon city

There’s nothing better a weekend with friends in a new city, exploring, eating, laughing and Lisbon is where me and my girlfriends escaped to for just that last September. I don’t know why I haven’t popped this post and vlog up yet but thought it seemed a good time as I know a few people heading there this year. We ate some amazing food and drank even more amazing wine out there, I’ve listed some of the places below but the main thing about this break and any trip I go on, is spending time with the people I’m with and taking a moment to look at life through fresh eyes…

You Can Have It All

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll see I’ve just got back from Thyme Cottages in Wiltshire. Whenever I escape London even if it’s for 24 hours, I feel like time stands still a little and I get a new perspective on my life back in London and it was so wonderful to be away with the most incredible group of people this time. The women in my community inspire me daily online but even more so when I get to hang out with them in person…

Three Hot Brunch Spots In London For Pancakes And More…

brunch london lifestyle

I’ve got a bit of a food, lifestyle, style post for you today. I’m a huge foodie and love discovering new places to eat out. I’m someone who gets overly excited about a menu and the design of the plates and mugs in a restaurant. I am also finding that places in London are now creating incredible menus for health conscious foodies as well as their fellow not so health conscious partners, friends, dads and I feel like a brunch has something for everyone…

My Weekly Food Shop

I thought it might be quite fun and hopefully helpful to talk through what I get in a typical weekly shop. I know it can be hard every week to find the inspiration to plan meals and rather than buying fresh whole foods, the microwave or oven versions look way too tempting and easy for a midweek dinner but I can’t tell you how important and simple it is to make your meals from scratch. To control what goes in your body is a powerful and wonderful thing. It’s fun to experiment with flavours, recipes, create your own sauces and dressings and food combinations.

In my video this week I simply talk through what I bought in my food shop this week, it’s all whole nutritious foods that I combine to create tasty salads, smoothies and dinners. I hope it gives you a little bit of inspiration…
