Pilates Retreat

17-19th July 2020

Tilton House, South Downs, U.K

The Retreat runs from 3pm on the Friday to 3pm on the Sunday. 
This retreat will include daily Pilates, optional runs and walks in the South Downs countryside, delicious vegetarian meals, homemade bakes and treats, evening activities such as board games and book swap club, an optional Soft Tissue Therapy treatment included should you wish to book this, use of the lovely Tilton House library, grounds and sauna. 
Rooms available are sharing double or triple rooms and one small single room is also available. All rooms are sharing bathrooms. 
Cost of this weekend with everything included except travel is £475.00. 
Deposit required on booking is 50% and the remaining 50% is due 8 weeks prior to the retreat.

Friday 17th July

3pm Arrival, welcome tea and homemade bakes
4:30-5:30pm Restorative Pilates Class
7pm Vegetarian Dinner
8:30pm Time to read, play board games, relax in the library, sauna or get an early night.  
Saturday 18th July
7am optional morning run in the South Downs 
8:15am teas and fruit
8:30-9:30am Dynamic Pilates Class
9:30am Breakfast
11am Walk in the beautiful South Downs Countryside
1pm Lunch and healthy treat
2pm: Free time to read, journal, relax, enjoy the sauna or a get a soft tissue therapy treatment.
5:30- 6:30pm Pilates Class (using small balls, bands and rings)
7pm Vegetarian dinner and dessert
8:30pm Book Swap Session
Sunday 19th July
7am optional morning run in South Downs countryside
8:15am teas and fruit
8:30-9:45am Pilates Class 
9:45am Breakfast
11am Walk in the beautiful South Downs Countryside or have a soft tissue therapy treatment
1:30-2:30pm Lunch and healthy treat and good byes

The Pilates
Over the course of the weekend you will get 4 Pilates class ranging from restorative to dynamic and using props such as bands, balls and pilates rings. Lottie will combine classical pilates exercises with toning low impact movements and stretches to build a balanced, stronger and more flexible body. This retreat is open to all levels, ages and abilities. 

The Runs and Walks
Sam will be leading an optional morning run around the beautiful South Downs countryside. They’ll also be a long walk during the day. 

The Soft Tissue Therapy 
Soft Tissue Therapy encourages and helps to overcome poor postural habits through fundamental pilates exercises and stretching methods. Soft tissue therapy covers a range of techniques from sports massage, myofascial release, active release therapy, mobilisation techniques, position of release, trigger point and MET (muscle energy technique). 

The Food
All the food over the weekend is vegetarian and homemade by the lovely chefs at Tilton House. We are able to cater to food allergies and intolerances.
