Did know it’s organic September and for me it’s also a very busy September so it seemed there was no better time to try out a Riverford Organic Recipe Box. Now as much as I love creating new recipes and spending time experimenting in the kitchen, sometimes it’s just hassle free and easy to follow a recipe and to be given the exact ingredients I need for that recipe is just another weight off my busy shoulders. Thank you Riverford Recipe Box…
The recipe box comes with 3 recipes and you can choose original, vegetarian or quick. The box is delivered to your door. I found it so exciting to uncover what recipes were in store for us that week. I pretty much eat everything so it was really fun to try foods that I wouldn’t normally cook with such as lamb, tamarind and even sweetcorn. I loved that I was given my body the best quality nourishing food.
I had the quick box and I must admit they weren’t that quick. The sweetcorn chowder took over an hour so definitely leave more time then it says or maybe I’m just slow. Light a candle, put on your favourite music and enjoy the prepping!
All the recipes were super delicious and very filling. The portion sizes are huge so you could even save some for your next day’s lunch unless you are feeding a very hungry fiancee. If you are a busy bee like me and struggle with getting to a farmers market every week then why not try a Riverford recipe box. I did a little video this week too so you can see what the box looks like and have a peak at the types of recipes you can make.
Happy Organic September!
