When was the last time you really had fun? The other week, I went down to Cornwall with my four best friends and had so much fun. The week leading up to this trip, I was feeling quite run down, had an ulcer, was exhausted and was craving FUN!
This year has been one of the best of my life so far, I do say that every year but they just keep getting better and better! But this year has been quite a serious one. Serious in a good way! I’ve really got focused and moved forwards with my career, I’ve bought my first house with my boyfriend and been studying nutrition all year. There hasn’t been much time for fun!
I remember back in school, my best friend Scarlett and I would literally be hysterically laughing in class every day! The weekends would be about house parties and crazy girls sleepovers with more hysterical laughing! As you get older, the laughter becomes less frequent as silliness turns into seriousness!
Two days in Cornwall was just what I needed. My friends make me so happy and around them I feel I become me again. My teenage, no pressure or worries, self! We laughed at silly things, giggled in bed and danced till the early hours of the morning.
When do you laugh the most and who with? Maybe you just need an hour of watching Friends to get your giggle fix but I’ve realised that laughter really is the best medicine. A good laugh makes me feel relaxed and less serious about life. Aren’t your favourite times in life, the ones where you smiled and laughed the most? Let’s make more of those moments!
I hope you like my Cornwall photos! It’s such a beautiful part of the world and definitely one of my new happy places!
