One thing that lots of us struggle with is dealing with social events especially ones that involve drinking alcohol whilst trying to live a healthy lifestyle. I am not perfect and yes I do drink alcohol. I am 22 years old and at this stage in my life going to events, dinners, parties and having a drink with my friends and family is such an important and happy part of my life. I don’t feel like I NEED it but I do enjoy drinking and see it as a form of release and relaxation.
When I look at my lifestyle and diet as a whole then I’m not going to feel bad about letting my hair down and having a few glasses at the weekend. But I know for a lot of girls there are some issues when it comes to alcohol. Whether it be drinking too much, worrying about the calories in alcohol, craving greasy food at midnight or junk food the next day, the most important thing is that you love and take care of your body in general.
