The Every Day Pilates Routine To Feel Amazing

lottie murphy pilates routinePilates isn’t just about looking good for me, it’s about feeling good and this is exactly what made me fall in love with it when I was at ballet school. My clients still say to me all the time how much better they feel after their sessions and it’s that feeling that you sometimes can’t even describe, you just feel lovely in your body and mind after a Pilates class. I try to encourage my clients to do a little Pilates routine every day as a little a day keeps the pains away (hehe); it also sets me up for a fabulous day ahead.

A Green Trip To Paris and Supermodel, Doutzen Kroes, Lifestyle Tips

botanicals fresh care

Last week I was in Paris for two days for a green urban retreat with Botanicals Fresh Care, the new green hair care brand from L’oréal Paris infused with plant extracts and free from silicones, parabens and colorants. Over the two days I got to not only absorb the brand but eat lots of delicious organic plant based food, plant tulips and sunflowers at Place de la République, make flower hair chains and stretch it all out in yoga. Oh and I almost forgot, interview the most beautiful woman in the world Doutzen Kroes- yes she does Pilates! I vlogged the trip which you can watch below, I’m still trying to get better at vlogging so bear with me…

Body Confidence From The Inside Out

River Island Lottie Murphy Cosmo

It’s such a nice feeling when you feel body confident and you sass around feeling positive and on top of the world but then there’s days when you can’t help but feel negative about your body and judge every little imperfection. Guys and girls have this I’m sure, we are all human. Of course there’s things we can do like eating well, working out, wearing cute jeans that can help us but ultimately it’s a feeling that comes from the inside out and it’s based solely on your own perspective…

January Self Care Loves

I’m the biggest believer in a good skin and hair care routine as well as all things under the self care umbrella. Self care shouldn’t be seen as a selfish indulgent experience, it’s essential to your wellbeing and happiness. Each month, I’ll be sharing my self care favourites from skincare, haircare, books, podcasts, candles, blankets, walks, studios; whatever I’ve been loving that month to take care of myself. When I feel good I’m able to be the best friend, daughter, sister, teacher, writer, adventurer, whatever it is I’m being. So let’s see what’s been helping me feel sparkly this month…

How I’m Surviving The Slog Between My Birthday And Spring

There’s something magical about the frost outside the windows, the bite in the wind and the wrapping up in a hundred layers! Yes it’s magical for about week and then I’m done. Don’t even get me started on snow, I’ve had my 10 minute snow storm for the year thanks very much. Please stay away! I do try to be positive but I just love the sun and feeling warm and I find it really hard to stay positive when my hands have frostbite, my umbrella has curled up like a dead spider and I’m constantly trying to find the most natural fake tan that makes me look like I’ve been on a winter break to the Maldives. If anyone wants to solve this problem and whisk me there then hi!
