I love Autumn but I think it’s a time we can sometimes feel a bit of of wack with no clear focus and direction. Summer and September seemed to have whizzed by and we are now heading towards Christmas and the new year but not quite at the exciting countdown part yet. There’s still so much of this year to go yet where we can stay motivated and productive, It’s not too late to set goals, take care of yourself and feel incredible for these last few months of the year. I’ve taken on some fitness health challenges of my own but Pilates is my bread and butter and my go to way of moving when I’m feeling a little out of balance. So take 10, refocus and join me in this Autumn Renew Pilates Routine…
Time commitment:
7 minutes
The Goal:
To feel renewed, balanced, more body aware, to work on improving your strength, flow of movement and control of your body.
The Exercises:
Roll down to plank
Elbow plank to pike
Side lying lifted oyster
Side lift knees bent
Side plank with threading the needle
Straddle side body stretch
Once you’ve got familiar with the routine and the exercises try to repeat this a few times this week to see if you notice any improvements. Try to maintain a sense of abdominals through the exercises, keep your breathe flowing and full to keep relaxed and always rest when you don’t feel like you are achieving the correct form and ease of movement, then give it another try when you feel ready.
The activewear set I’m wearing is Every Second Counts and I like the burgundy colour especially for Autumn. The cut of the top is really comfortable and I love the subtle design. I’m running a little giveaway to win this set on my Instagram today so head over to find out how to win it. Yay!
Love, Lottie x
