Porridge is my go to breakfast in the morning and like a lot of people I know I even look forward to my morning bowl the night before, it’s the little things in life! I’ve always loved the way Oats So Simple porridge turns out so creamy, it’s exactly the consistency I love my oats to be and what would usually take me 15 minutes with regular rolled oats, takes 2 minutes with their handy sachets; perfect for a morning when I’m heading out early to workout or teach clients. They have just launched a range of protein oats too with 15% of the sachet being plant based soya protein…

I love Autumn but I think it’s a time we can sometimes feel a bit of of wack with no clear focus and direction. Summer and September seemed to have whizzed by and we are now heading towards Christmas and the new year but not quite at the exciting countdown part yet. There’s still so much of this year to go yet where we can stay motivated and productive, It’s not too late to set goals, take care of yourself and feel incredible for these last few months of the year. I’ve taken on some fitness health challenges of my own but Pilates is my bread and butter and my go to way of moving when I’m feeling a little out of balance. So I’ve fallen in love with Cornwall. I went once before as one of my best friends is from there and we had a girly getaway exploring tea rooms and a little bit of the nightlife but this time I really felt like I got to experience what Cornwall is all about; vast countryside, epic dramatic beaches, cosy cottages, incredible seafood and I even took to the ocean for the first time with a surfboard! I’m basically a wannabe Cornish surfer gal now! So I thought I’d share a little bit about my most recent trip to this beautiful part of the world with you because if you haven’t been then pack your cosiest pjs, a wetsuit and get your butt there. Feeling Content: My Five Top Tips

lottie murphy content wellbeing

Feeling content is something I’ve always struggled with but desired to feel more than anything. More than success, love, happiness. The state of being contented with your situation in life. I’m at a stage in my life right now where I feel just that; it’s a feeling for me where things aren’t perfect and don’t even have to be, I’m still striving for personal and career goals, there’s still ups and downs every day, the world’s and life’s struggles are still present but every day life is enjoyable, simple and lovely. It’s a feeling kind of like when everything just clicks, syncs and falls into place. There’s little stress and worry but lots of enjoying the present moment and looking forward to what’s to come. A feeling of loving what you have and you have everything you need and it’s enough.
