Create Your Own Honest Garden Pilates Sanctuary

Last week I was lucky enough to teach perhaps one of my favourite classes to date as a Pilates Instructor. It was at The Honest Garden which was a little pop up on the Southbank for Honest Tea which are a super yummy organic cold tea brand. They have launched three new flavours including my favourite lemon and honey (I mix it with spirulina at home which is so much nicer than water.) It was one of the most beautiful days in London last Friday, blue skies, a speckle of clouds, very warm, a light breeze and all at 7am!! It wasn’t cold at all! We overlooked the Thames and St Paul’s and got down to practice on our mats.

Retreat life is all about stepping away from everyday stresses and immersing yourself in the ultimate self care routine from waking up to going to sleep. I might only grab time for a 45 minute Pilates session, a quick smoothie catch up with a friend or a 5 minute cleanse tone and moisturise in the evening during my day to day life but on retreat, well my retreats anyway, we completely soak up every opportunity to take care of ourselves and the schedule is basically like my perfect day from start to finish. The Every Day Pilates Routine To Feel Amazing

My clients still say to me all the time how much better they feel after their sessions and it’s that feeling that you sometimes can’t even describe, you just feel lovely in your body and mind after a Pilates class. I try to encourage my clients to do a little Pilates routine every day as a little a day keeps the pains away (hehe); it also sets me up for a fabulous day ahead.
